That’s One Flashy iPhone!

Like your iPhone? Who doesn’t? With thousands of great apps, ideal functionality, and the world’s first OS for a cell phone, it’s not hard to see why so many people are enamored with this device. Maybe the worst part of the apps, though, is the fact that as you surf for new ones to add, your brain starts running wild with ones you could design for the iPhone. Imagine your app becoming the hottest new thing.

Did you hear about the biggest new one headed our way? Adobe is actually working with Apple to bring Flash technology to your iPhone. Sure, it’s a natural thought. Without third party plugins like Flash, the iPhone will never complete its mobile internet domination, and it’s just possible you thought of the same app a hundred times. Maybe you even thought of it this morning on your way to work. Unfortunately, instead of working with top companies like Adobe to apply your skills to killer projects like third party plugins for the iPhone and thousands of other smart phones, you have a whole list of other tasks to complete at your job today, like wiping computer number 38667 again because the employee who uses it won’t stop downloading what she calls “cool desktop themes.” Have fun with that.

You could be doing something different. You could be working with an employer who lets you show your creative side. It’s just possible you could hook up with someone who lets you design apps for an iPhone or change the world with your new site. But since you did little more than respond to a couple of classifieds with the resume you designed in college or uploading that same tired document to online job seeking sites, it’s just not going to happen. Want to make it happen? Work with TechLink. The only placement firm that works with you from resume to salary negotiation, you’ll land the job of your dreams, not the technological equivalent of janitor. Contact TechLink today to find out how you can get on with your life with the right job.

Like Google Earth? Let It Help You Make a Big Splash
TechLink Blog
Wednesday, 14 January 2009 00:00
Ready for a big splash? Google Earth has finally mapped the oceans of the world. From the ability to take a dive into an undersea canyon on par with the Mariana Trench to the chance to see the near-extinct coelacanth, Google Earth is going to inaccessible locations faster than most ever thought possible.

Google Earth is easily one of the most popular parts of the Google line. Half a billion computers have it installed already, and Google hopes programs like these will bring a level of awareness to certain research facets. For example, very little of the ocean floor has actually been seriously mapped – less than 6% in fact. Moreover, there are species we’re not even aware of, but only 1% of them are marine protected areas. Tools like this could change the face of research and the world of business in some cases, but only individuals who know how to make full use of them are of any value to today’s companies and research labs.

Do you have what it takes? Could you bring Google Earth and thousands of other technologies to employers around the world? Have you considered TechLink Resources? The ideal way to get your resume noticed by employers who actually care about your ability to make use of technologies like Google Earth in the workplace, TechLink can connect you in ways you never thought possible. If you have the skills companies want, and you want a team fighting for you from resume to negotiation, you want TechLink Resources. The ability to continue working on projects that may actually help your future employer (like ways to use Google Earth to better the businesses of today), you want TechLink on your side. Don’t wait or spend your time making hundreds of copies at Kinko’s of your resume. Contact TechLink Resources instead.

It seems kind of funny that we need to remind ourselves to do this, but according to Wikipedia, we've forgotten how much it means.  It seems over the past 25 years, there has been a substantial increase in work and the finger is being pointed at information technology.  Check out the link and then quickly break yourself away from your computer and enjoy some time with your family!
